Graeme and Sara offer you a warm and friendly welcome to the Headlands guest house, a traditional Victorian stone building situated on the south side of Kendal town centre close to the River Kent.  We offer a range of tastefully decorated en-suite rooms in a non-smoking environment providing an ideal location for your visit be it business or pleasure.

Only a few minutes walk from the centre of town, all local amenities are within easy reach including shops, restaurants, pubs, the leisure centre, Abbot Hall museum and Art Gallery and the Brewery Arts Centre. 

Kendal is an attractive market town, often called the ‘Gateway to the Lakes’ as it is just eight miles from Windermere and is an ideal base for touring both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.  Kendal has much to offer the visitor, from stunning natural scenery, historic sites and a wealth of activities and attractions.  Steeped in history, with a range of quality restaurants and shops, a well respected theatre and cinema, Kendal is a holiday destination that suits the whole family.
