About the Headlands guest house

The Headlands guest house is centrally heated throughout with attractive decor, attention to detail and a charm that comes with buildings of this generation. We have worked with the styling from the late 1800’s to create an environment that blends the old with the new.  The Headlands is a non-smoking residence that is privately owned and run by Sara and Graeme Spenceley.

We offer twin, double, triple and family rooms, en-suite and all with TV, beverage-making facilities, a hairdryer and high standards. A good sleep is important and many of our guests have commented on the quality of our beds.  Super-King-Size beds are available in some rooms.  Wireless internet is also available to guests with their own laptop. Ironing facilities are also available.

Breakfast is taken in the bright dining room and offers a good choice from a full and hearty British breakfast to lighter options such as cereals, toast and fruit.  If you have any special dietary needs, please just let us know.  We use quality produce which is sourced locally wherever possible and we offer homemade bread and preserves. Packed lunches are also available on request.

In the lounge a log fire crackles through the winter months and you can settle down in one of our large comfy sofas and relax. In the better weather, a lovely hidden away garden terrace is just the place to enjoy the fresh air.

We have ample on-site car parking and easy access to the town and public transport links.

Tariffs:
Typically a Double or Twin en-suite is £27 -£30 per person/per night, bed and breakfast
Single £28 - £32 per night b&b
Family Room £65 - £75 per night
All these prices include a full breakfast. We offer reduced rates out of season, particularly for longer stays of 3 nights or more.
